Nicholas D’Aoust has nearly fifteen years of experience in designing and implementing legal and corporate strategies aligned with his clients’ business objectives. 

He assists companies, entrepreneurs and professionals by offering practical, clear advice tailored to their specific circumstances. His practice mainly covers commercial transactions, contract drafting and negotiation, corporate governance, and handling the necessary administrative and regulatory procedures with public authorities. 

Recognized for his strategic and collaborative approach, Mr. D'Aoust strives above all to gain a thorough understanding of his clients' needs and ambitions in order to build lasting relationships based on trust and focused on long-term success. 

A graduate of the civil law program at the University of Ottawa and a member of the Quebec Bar and the Ontario Bar, he founded his own firm in 2014, which he continues to run with the same passion for rigor, transparency, and efficiency.

A skilled negotiator and litigator, Me Roy practices in a wide range of areas, where she is called upon to defend her clients’ interests in complex civil and commercial disputes with rigour and dedication. While she also focuses on dispute prevention and resolution, she is particularly drawn to the intellectual challenges of litigation and advocacy. 

A graduate with honours from the University of Ottawa’s civil law program, Me Roy has been practising in the Outaouais region since her admission to the Quebec Bar in 2012. She joined DSR Legal in 2015 and became a partner in 2018.

LAWYERME AUDREY CHIASSON SÉGUIN

Me Audrey Chiasson-Séguin, LL.L., is originally from the Outaouais region and holds a civil law degree from the University of Ottawa where she graduated summa cum laude. She has been practicing law in the area since her admission to the Tableau de l’Ordre of the Barreau du Québec in 2019.

In September 2025, Me Chiasson-Séguin joined the firm DSR Legal, where she focuses her practice on civil and commercial litigation, as well as contract law. Over the years, she has represented clients before various judicial and administrative tribunals, at both trial and appellate levels.

Me Chiasson-Séguin is recognized for her precision, professionalism and her ability to accurately assess and respond to her clients’ legal needs as well as her strong skills in legal drafting and negotiation. She provides strategic legal support in advisory, drafting and representation mandates and guides her clients in considering and implementing alternative dispute prevention and resolution mechanisms.
